The gaming floor is about 52,000 SF.Īn Environmental Evaluation that assesses the potential for off-reservation environmental impacts from the expansion project has been prepared consistent with the Tribe’s Environmental Impacts Ordinance and the Tribal-State Gaming Compact. The Casino is about 116,700 SF, consisting of a one-story structure with smoking and non-smoking designated gaming areas with accompanying facilities (poker room, IT room, Players Club, and cashier’s cage) as well as dining, live music, restrooms, administrative offices, and security and surveillance offices.
The proposed project does not involve the installation of additional gaming devices in the short term. The tribe proposes to expand the existing casino by about 40,000 square feet, thereby creating space for restaurants, offices, an expanded gaming floor, (22,545 SF), restaurant, kitchen, buffet, offices, promotional areas, entrance, back of house, and Players Club. This week the 30-day public comment period began for the proposed expansion of Valley View Casino by the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians.
